New York, Newark, Nuuk: we’re off to Greenland
Pack some semi automatic guns
We hunted Polar Bears out in Newfoundland
But Jared’s shot all the Canadian ones
We’ll spend like dollar vikings, with no exchange rate
Now Greenland is the 52nd state

Or if you need to get some summer  sun
Relax by the Mediterranean Sea
Those Europeans are no fun
I can’t understand  a word they say to me
The new Trump Palestinian just seems to have it all 
You’ll like the look of Gaza in the spring or fall

And now I’m looking for a 54th state
Canada and Greenland and Gaza will be great
But Scotland is my motherland, my golfing destination
It’s ripe for a little bit of annexation

The Eisenhower suite  needs some renovation soon

We’ll have the Trump Museum in the Hebrides
McDonalds from Uist to Stornoway
Get Edinburgh managed by Universal please
I love seeing tiny tartan dresses sway
Oh Scotland, Bonnie Scotland your soul will be untethered 
We’re launching special satellites to get some better weather 

I believe he’s looking for a 54th state

    I wouldn’t wish assassination even upon this most dangerous of buffoons, but if Congress can get its act together, perhaps American politicians can find some steel to rein him in. He has no interest in history, just feeding his insatiable ego and peddling his implausible lies that no one seems to hold him to account for! Loved the “ballad of baldy”. Great work Tom. We’re all reading the runes now!

    This is captured brilliantly. Living through this mess and embarrassment is a daily nightmare. Are there ICE agents ready to terrorize our neighbors and friends in AZ – well only the brown ones. Are we grateful that our kids are too old to be in school, but maybe old enough to be conscripted? And the lies that are spewed from the “Christian” right are not how I was raised.

    Shetland islands look colder and more beautiful than I can imagine. Are the people as friendly as your writings indicate? Is there room for my best friend and hubby as well as mine to take up residence because being very cold would better than being in this hell !
